Nolan Thomas Frankhauser was born at 1:37 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, at Clark Fork Valley Hospital to mother Natalie Frankhauser and father Jason Franhauser, of Plains. Nolan joins Josie Frankhauser. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 20 inches. Nolan’s maternal grandparents are Thomas Ruzicka, of Sacramento, Tracy Ruzicka, of Big Spring, Texas. His maternal great-grandparent is Dewey Sigmon, of Lockhart, South Carolina. Nolan’s paternal grandparents are Tom Price, of Seattle, Diane Price, of Tacoma, Washington, and great-grandparent Lillian Gravseth, of Tacoma, Washington. Several truck accidents continue to hit I90 due to hazardous conditions

The Montana Highway Patrol reported 34 incidents between Feb. 26 and Mar.5, as snow and icy conditions continue to sweep down Interstate 90 in Mineral County. Several incidents occurred on Sunday, Feb. 26, and on Saturday, Mar. 4 where higher elevations were hit with heavy snow fall. Especially hazardous conditions were reported on Lookout Pass.

I-90 closed for two hours due to elk collision

A small SUV hit an elk, causing a chain reaction on Interstate 90 on Thursday, May 24, that led to both lanes being closed for several hours. After hitting the elk, a pickup truck hauling a camper, rear-ended the SUV and then a semi-truck hit the camper and jack-knifed into the other lane, according to Frenchtown Fire Department representative, Mel Holtz. Though his department was not on the scene, he followed up with a report.
