HOT SPRINGS – The first Town Council Meeting of the year took place Tuesday evening Jan. 7. The meeting began with Mayor Randy Woods taking the oath of office once again, and Leslee Smith was re-appointed Town Council President. The main topic of discussion was Public Works and town maintenance.

Arlee School District will host the faculty and staff who will travel from the Missoula campus to show camp participants how to engineer puppets with moving parts, create robots using a variety of technologies, and explore chemistry through cooking.

Teacher makes learning fun
When the high school gym went pitch black last week on Monday, some elementary students cried out that they were afraid of the dark. But a few minutes later when a Black Eyed Peas’ song “I Gotta Feeling” started playing and the lasers begin to dance on the walls and ceilings, students were thrilled.
