Thanking a local business

How to begin to thank Ordelheide Dental? I have lived here for 3 years, moving from the stress of Seattle working with 44,000 people at Boeing to some culture shock. I am learning that this small town living, is what life is supposed to be! I moved here to marry my husband (Buddy), and be welcomed by the most wonderful in-laws anyone could ever ask for (Pat and Ed Farmer). I left my family behind to have that faith and family embrace me. Within 2 years my sister, her husband and 3 kids moved out here and my parents will retire out here in just a few weeks. Us “large town” newbies are starting to learn what town fellowship really mean. The owners and staff of Ordelheide Dental have today proven to me what community is all about. They opened their doors to the town of Plains for much needed free dental help. Yes our town may be small, but it is mighty and coming together like this with the help of the Womens Club made today a memory to hold forever! It’s hard to find work out here, and even harder to find benefits, so when a business a true family business can give so much knowing the struggles we have, goes above and beyond and has made this the most memorable experience not only for me, but my family as well. Thank you Ordelheide Dentist for making a believer in me and bringing so much pride to our community.

Power is risking our way of life

Our way of life is at risk; it is not only about money, it is about control. One of the greatest weapons used by the “ruling aristocracy” to protect their financial interests and advance their power agenda is to use little known civil laws, to make felons out of most any law abiding citizen. Open your eyes to the true rulers of America, “the ruling aristocracy” of America, who are in partnership with the government, and has effectively eliminated the “justice system” as we know it, and has replaced it with the “just us system” through wealth and financial manipulation. They have gained control of every facet of our life. Their long arm of control extends over the entire judicial system, law enforcement, legislation, all major media. For example, their ignoring of candidate for president, Dr. Ron Paul, the only presidential candidate with a real concern for the American citizen, the Constitution and the sovereignty and freedom of each of us.

Rafting the river

As a child, I spent most of my time in man-made swimming pools. The only recreation I remember out on a real body of water was spent in a lake (and if my memory is right, it too, was man-made). I was probably about seven or eight when we headed up to the lake one summer with my uncles and aunts. They tied a rope to an inner tube and threw it out the back of the boat and me and brother and sister took turns being pulled behind the boat, while in the tube with one of our uncles. And while it was fun at the time, it was nothing like I experienced this weekend.
