An update from Rep. Ingraham
On Wednesday, April 23rd we will be observing the 62nd anniversary of “Administrative Professionals Day.” This is a day set aside to recognize and celebrate the work of secretaries, administrative assistants and other office professionals for their growing and diverse contributions to the workplace, who at some point in time impact our daily lives in some manner as we use services that employ this valuable work force.

Thompson Falls Drug and Alcohol Awareness day
Last Thursday, on Halloween, Thompson Falls High School, in association with the Sanders County Sheriff’s Office and the Elks Lodge, held a special drug awareness event at the football field.

James C. Jones (“Jimmy,” “JJ”) died at his home in St. Regis, Montana on August 24, 2016. He passed away from cancer at 1:07 a.m. with all his family at his bedside. He will be missed so very much by many friends and family. He was a very important part of our family and he was loved so very much.

Tricon mill sold to Idaho Forest Group
The Idaho Forest Group, one of the nation’s largest lumber producers has entered into a binding contract with Tricon Timber’s sawmill in St. Regis, one of Mineral County’s largest employers.

Police ask for help in identifying credit card thief
This person is a person of interest in the theft of a credit card from the Assembly of God Church. The credit card was used at the Town Pump and at McGowans Grocery on August 30, 2013 between 3:30 and 3:50 p.m.. The Plains Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying this subject as well as information on the White Ford Expedition pictured.
