During a cross county rival match the Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats scratched out a win against the St. Regis Lady Tigers during a Tues. October 3 matchup in St. Regis 25-17, 25-15, 25-21. Cat senior Montanna Baughman led the team in kills with 5 out of 17, as well as in digs making 9 out of 37 and in aces with 4.
Prep roundup for local schools
St. Regis Lady Tigers played in Plain last Tuesday and lost all three sets. During play Anna Sanford secured 4 of the 16 Kills as well as 6 of the 11 Digs and all 6 Aces. Chloe Cielke helped by take 4 of the 16 Kills, Justice Tate secured 4 of the 6 Blocks. Total Digs recorded were 41 with Baylee Pruitt taking 16 and Emma Hill 15.

Clark Fork, St. Regis athletes excel at state track
The Seeley-Swan girls captured the Class C title at the Montana State Track and Field Championships with 90.33 points at the Laurel Sports Complex held Friday and Saturday, May 24 and 25. Laurel won the boys’ crown with 81 points. The Clark Fork girls placed 19th with 8 points, and the St. Regis girls placed 32nd with 1 point. The Clark Fork boys placed 27th with 6 points, and the St. Regis boys were 25th with 7 points. Sorren Reese of Clark Fork placed fifth in the 800-meter run with a time 2:27.56. Madison Kelly of St Regis earned sixth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:43.35. The Clark Fork girls placed fourth in the 1,600-meter relay with a clocking of 4:19.45. Ian Farris of St Regis earned third in the 100-meter dash with 11.30, and placed sixth in the long jump with an effort of 20 feet, 4 inches. Jesse Shaske of Clark Fork placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.64.

St. Regis football players learn new game
Football season is a long way off, but players in St. Regis took to the field last week for a short, three-day camp. The football camp ran Monday, July 26 through Wednesday, July 28 for two hours each day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the evenings.
Regis golfers ready for state
St. Regis hosted golf teams from around the area on Thursday at Trestle Creek. Although there weren't enough numbers playing for a girls' team, the boys were on the board with 508 for the day. On the girls' side, however, Jocelyn Dockter and Shelby Berg were once again up in the top ten for individual scores. Dockter took fifth with a score of 112 and Berg took tenth with 129.

St. Regis golfers set sights on home meet, state
St. Regis golfers got the weekend off compliments of Mother Nature. A cold and rainy Saturday ended up calling for the cancellation of the meet that was supposed to take place at Deer Lodge. Aside from the cancellation, Coach Dan Park said that the season has been going okay for the Tiger golfers.

Destination Imagination team places first in state competition
Move over Rodgers and Hammerstein, there’s a new team in town who could rival the world of musical theatre. The Hamsteaks from St. Regis took first place during the Imagination Destination State Tournament for their musical challenge. As a result of their win, the Hamsteaks will be traveling to Knoxville, Tennessee to compete in the Global Finals in May.
