The gathering took place in front of the historic school building in the heart of Superior, and featured several different exhibits, activities for kids and live music courtesy of the Zylawy brothers. The event was intended as a fundraiser for the newly created We Care organization.

Lady Bobcats fall to Mission, Florence
The Lady Bobcats had slow games on the volleyball courts last week, but the games moved at a fast pace. They played Mission on Tuesday at home and then traveled to Florence on Saturday, losing both games in three sets.

Superior Bobcats back on the football field
The Superior Bobcats were back on the field on Monday and were looking forward to a new season of high school football. Dan Lucier said about 37 kids showed for the first day of practice, which is about the same number as prior years.

Bass tournament in Trout Creek attracts anglers
TROUT CREEK- The Noxon Reservoir was the site of the annual Tri-State Bass Tournament held in Trout Creek over the weekend. Anglers from Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Montana converged on the reservoir beginning on Saturday to try their luck at catching small and large-mouth bass.
NW Montana Fair and Rodeo opens Aug. 17
The 2022 Northwest Montana Fair & Rodeo opens Aug. 17 at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell and will feature a performance by country star Lee Brice, three nights of Ram PRCA Rodeo, a Big Air Bash motorcycle stunt show, a carnival and hundreds of exhibits.
