St. Regis sends two golfers to state
St. Regis golfers continued to enjoy success this year, with two going to the state championships following a strong showing at the Class C Divisional meet in Great Falls this past weekend.

State of disaster declared by governor as flood worries persist
Gov. Steve Bullock declared a second executive order this month declaring a “disaster to exist in the state of Montana” on May 21. In the most recent declaration, Gov. Bullock stated that, “flood conditions persist and have worsened in many locations since I declared a state of emergency to exist statewide in Montana”. His previous order was on May 1, 2018.

Plains does well at state track meet
Plains High School track and field continued its tradition of excellence in spite of having only five qualify for the Class-C state track meet held Thursday through Saturday at Laurel Sports Complex at Laurel High School.

Travelers’ Rest State Park host First Day Hikes

As a State Representative, my purview tends to fall only on issues that can be resolved at the state level. That said it’s still quite often that I receive phone calls or emails dealing with concerns outside of the state - typically federal issues. The last few weeks have seen a significant frustration in our community regarding the unconstitutional surveillance of law-abiding citizens by the federal government.
