Group looks to 'enrich' county residents with art, music

Art council holds concert
Music reverberated the rafters at the United Methodist Church in Plains as two talented classical musicians performed works from the Baroque and romantic periods of music. The concert comes as a part of work done by members of the Sanders County Arts Council, as a way to bring artistic events to Plains.

Free recorder class offered
PARADISE - The Montana Baroque Music Festival will be offering a free recorder workshop given by world famous Matthias Maute at Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort on Monday, July 28 at 2:30 p.m., to budding recorder player students. Those interested should bring their recorders.
"Harmony of Nations" to perform
Monica Huggett will be coming to Montana to perform twice in 2011. Monica is one of the founders of and performers in the Montana Baroque Music Festival now in its eighth year in July.

4-H Ambassadors 'discover their element'
The 2016 4-H Club Fall Ambassador Training was a complete success. More than 100 ambassadors and youth leaders from all over the state attended to participate in workshops and meetings and listen to motivational speakers. Madeline Snell and Tressa Lyscio from Sanders County attended. As ambassadors strive to represent 4-H to their community, they came together on Oct. 20-22 in Bozeman for the purpose of learning leadership skills. “Discover Your Element” was the theme of the weekend.

PARADISE – Over a four-day exhibit, approximately 300 people came to the Paradise School to help support local artists in the area.
