With their use being much more than a normal vehicle, fire trucks typically can lose half of their monetary value within the first five to seven years of use according to an article found on Fire Trucks Plus Web site. However, it might be even harder to determine the value of one "retired" fire truck from the fleet of Superior's volunteer fire department.

Several elections set for May 2
Mineral County Election Administrator Staci McGrew said that ballots for upcoming school board trustees and the West End Board of Directors will be mailed out by Friday. The Superior School Board trustee election and the West End election will both be mail-ballot elections. The St. Regis tech levy election will be at a polling place, with absentee ballots mailed out by Friday. Election day is May 2 for all three elections. If residents do not receive their ballots, contact the election office at (406) 822-3521.
MHSA awards schools for good sportsmanship
The Montana High School Association awarded both Alberton and St. Regis High School with its Sportsmanship Award. This award is for schools who do not have any ejections of students or coaches from football or volleyball.
