Ila Mae Raymond of Plains passed away of natural causes, May 17, 2014 at Polson Health and Rehab. She was born May 16, 1933 to Mina and Angelo DeMers of Plains, where she grew up and went to school with her brother Francis. She met Lester Raymond when he owned the Texaco station in Plains. They married in September of 1948 in Missoula making their home in Plains. They built two homes in Plains and had three children, moving to Rainbow Lake in 1972. She loved bowling and talking on the C.B. radio. Truckers would talk to her when passing by the lake. You could always count on coffee when you stopped by to chat. There were always dogs at her home, at one time there were seven.

Phyllis Marie Enderlein, Hazleton Archibald Damschen of Plains, MT passed away peacefully on Friday May 30, 2014 at the age of 85 with family and friends at her bedside at Clark Fork Valley Hospital.
