Community outreach donates to Mountain View Assisted Living
On the second Thursday of every month a small group of women meet at the Mineral County Chamber of Commerce office. And each month they decide what they can do to make their community a healthier place to live. Some, in fact most, go unnoticed, but they know that providing just one event could possibly change or make the difference in how or where they see their health care.

Snowmobile club adds to annual event
The Montana Nightriders Snowmobile Club is well known for the $1,000 Super Poker Ride the last weekend in January. Up to 400 sledders have partaken in this signature event held in Haugan for the last 36 years.

See-saw games in a see-saw match which was settled by untimely miscues in game four. That was the story of the Plains Trotters versus St. Regis Lady Tigers Thursday night in St. Regis. In the end those miscues proved to be the decider as the Trotters came away with a thrilling 3-1 victory over the host Lady Tigers before an energized, vocal crowd.
