An update from Rep. Ingraham

While the 63rd Legislative session came to a close on April 24th, just 3 short weeks ago, there is still some unfinished work yet to be completed. The unfinished work involves over-riding the Governor’s veto of bills passed by the Senate and House, a disappointing end to say the least since those bills had strong bipartisan support.

Commonly, root cause is used to describe the depth in the causal chain where an intervention could reasonably be implemented to improve performance or prevent an undesirable outcome.

Wildfires continue to burn around region

Copper King fire burning eight miles east of Thompson Falls, started on Sunday, July 31. As of August 7 it has reached 1,398 acres. There were 389 firefighters on the scene and the fire is five percent contained. No evacuation orders as of Sunday.

MINERAL COUNTY - A “Lady in the Woods” is the name of the quilt that the Cabin Fever Quilters Guild will be raffling off at the Mineral County Fair August 2, 2014. This quilt has 100 blocks that consist of over 5,200 pieces. The money raised from this raffle will be given to a local non-profit organization.
