The Mineral County Hospital Board of directors have been working with a steering committee during the past year to explore the possibilities of major improvements to the facility, which, would improve patient care and increase efficiency if implemented. Such a national frustration is being called to attention with great clarity and interest in America as we speak. This involves Sen. Bernie Sanders campaigning for president on the Democratic ticket. On July 1, Sen. Sanders drew 10,000 people into the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Madison, Wisconsin. This was the largest crowd drawn by any candidate in 2015.
Severe rock slide blocks River Road East
PARADISE – A severe rock slide occurred late Friday night on River Road East in Paradise. Thousands of pounds of rock blocked traffic and completely covered the road. The affected section of River Road East remains closed.
St. Regis track meet cancelled
St. Regis students didn’t get to have much of a first track meet last week. The Frenchtown TNT Invitational was cancelled after the first two events. With students competing in certain ones, none of the competitors from the team were able to see much except some rain and hail.
