Doyle Lynn Prince
Doyle Lynn Prince, Nampa ID, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 25th, 2013 in Meridian Idaho. In the days, preceding his death he was surrounded by his loving daughters, several grandchildren, his wife, other family members and his church family. As he struggled with illness, he called to Jesus to take him home and was rewarded with eternal life and peace.

Clark sentenced to 20-years for Superior thefts
Steven Clark was sentenced by Montana Fourth Judicial District Court Judge John Larson to 20-years in a state correctional facility on April 10.

Thompson Falls thespians entertain with Red Riding Hood
THOMPSON FALLS- Around 200 residents of Thompson Falls came out to support the performance of “Red Riding Hood” put on by children ranging in age from six years to 17 years of age. Organized by the Missoula Children’s Theatre, the play featured about 60 kids from Thompson Falls schools, directed by MCT members Allie Kauling and Steven Thomas and accompanied by Rebecca Haag. Assistant directors Asher Evans, Whitney Micklon and Zack Bloom helped coordinate behind the scenes activity.

Chaos staged to sop the vote
In a desperate attempt to keep two ballot referendums from reaching the people of Montana, democrat senators staged unprecedented chaos at the state capitol on Friday. After an initial plot to disrupt proceedings failed, they resorted to mob rule -- yelling, ranting, raving, and slamming coffee mugs on their desks. They incited their allies in the audience, who in turn began hanging over the balcony rails to scream and stomp and jeer. They did everything, just short of riot, to disrupt the legislative process. It was unbelievable.
Clark accepts plea bargain for string of Superior area thefts

Some say it will utterly destroy farming, ranching, lives, and land values in northwestern Montana. Others argue there’s nothing to fear in the massive Salish-Kootenai water rights compact. Both sides agree the economic implications are perhaps the largest we will see in our lifetime. But there is a strong disagreement over whether those outcomes will be good or bad.

PLAINS - Sixth grade students got out of the classroom and into the Plains High School gym lobby to try out their designs for a self-propelled car, a project that combined physics, engineering and structural design.
Battle on invasive watermilfoil in Noxon shows success
In 2012, the Sanders County Aquatic Invasive Plants Task Force waged the largest battle thus far in the war against two species of non-native weeds in the Noxon and Cabinet Gorge reservoirs -- Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM) and curlyleaf pondweed (CLP). Noxon Rapids Reservoir contains the uppermost known infestations of EWM on the Clark Fork River drainage.
