When the United States enacts a law that is repugnant to the US Constitution and the Montana Constitution, both candidates promised to not interfere. Rather, they will defer to the Montana Attorney General or to the Governor.

Connolly hired as Mineral County financial officer
Jessica Connolly was hired as the new Financial Officer for the County, at the November 20 Mineral County Commissioners meeting. She will work as an independent contractor, with $20,000 in the budget for her salary. Her contract is good for one year.
