Third annual Western C Tip-Off Tournament held in Frenchtown
It was the third annual Western C Tip-Off Tournament held on Friday and Saturday in Frenchtown on Dec. 1 and 2. The tournament is hosted in part by Alberton Principal and Athletic Director, Kyle Fisher.

Lady Cats seeded second at District
With regular season at a close, the Clark Fork Lady Mountain Cats will be heading to volleyball Districts in second place, behind Seeley-Swan. The Cats suffered a loss to Noxon and to Seeley-Swan during the season, ending 8-2. Seeley cut the Cats out of first place for Districts last year, as well.
100 firefighters battle St. Regis blaze
SOUTH TAMARACK — Firefighters are battling a 13-acre blaze six miles north of St. Regis using air and ground resources to set a perimeter around the area. Forest service officials estimate the fire is at five percent containment as of Saturday morning.
