Bombers blast past Tigers
They're called the Paradise Bombers boys junior high basketball team, but because of low numbers at the school, the team has athletes from fourth grade to seventh and both boys and girls play on the team this year, said coach Mark French. Yet, it was a St. Regis player who took a shot at the wrong basket, although it didn't go in. "We're definitely the underdogs this year," said French, who's in his third year with the Bombers.

St. Regis students are hitting the golf course this spring
Students at St. Regis are stepping out on the greens this week as the second week of golf practice got underway. With Coach Dan Park nearby to offer advice and strategy, students were driving their balls down the fairway, after teeing off, all while trying to avoid the rough to guide their balls to the putting green where with a light tap, or putt, they finally hoped to put the ball in the hole and call it a game.

A 74-year-old Hot Springs man was killed after crashing into a logging truck near St. Regis on Monday.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, Stephanie and Nathan Saint welcomed their new son, Steven William Saint, to Plains. He was born at Clark Fork Valley Hospital and weighed seven pounds, one ounce. He was born at 11:08 a.m.
