Mountain lion spotted in Superior

There have been numerous reports of a mountain lion in Superior over the past few weeks. It has been seen at night near Eva Horning Park. the high school and in the area of 4th Avenue. The Mineral County Sheriff’s Office and the local game warden had been notified. However, the warden, Alex Mattson, said he had only received one call.

There is so much to write about I am not sure where to start. Today we had a morning where business owners from across the state here to tell legislators what needed to be done to revitalize Montana’s economy. This is the first time an event like this has ever occurred during a session. All information was given by the public. Legislators listened, some took many notes. I was in a group of the latter.

Bosslift recognizes Montana employers

Sailboat enthusiasts enjoying the calm waters of Flathead Lake in Montana last week were a little startled to have a pair of UH-60 Black Hawks and a CH-47 Chinook come thumping down the lake and drop down between the snow dusted peaks of the majestic Mission Mountains.  Montana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) capped off National ESGR week, September 19-25, with an employer BOSSLIFT out of Kalispell Montana.  A BOSSLIFT allows employers an opportunity to learn what their National Guard and Reserve members do on a drill weekend…including training in a Black Hawk or Chinook helicopter.
