Senior Cats honored in Alberton

It was Senior Night for the Clark Fork Mountain Cats in Alberton where they played Seeley-Swan. In between the girls and boys varsity game, seniors were escorted onto the basketball court by parents and relatives. The evening is to honor and thank the students and parents for all their hours of hard work and dedication contribution to sports, pep band and other school activities.

The Superior Ambulance Service and the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration, will host a ‘drug take back’ event on April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the ambulance facility, which is located across from Tamarack Clinic in Superior.

Superior students graduate

Thirty-six students graduated on Sunday from Superior High School. High school principal Allan Labbe welcomed guests as they gathered to celebrate the students "educational achievement." And while the academic success was the prominent focus of the afternoon's commencement ceremony, there was some question and debate about how many times the 2010 class had beater the faculty in tug-of-war contests throughout the years.
