Young scientists strut their stuff

According to young scientests Kylie Lucier and Chance Bridgewater, chewing gum and listening to music makes a person smarter and helps them concentrate. These were two conclusions found at a recent St. Regis science fair. The fair involved middle and high school students who competed for bronze, silver, and gold medals. Gold medalists go on to compete at the state science fair, held at the University of Montana on March 27-28.

Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of ($11,105.00), representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Bid bonds will be accepted and, for the successful bidder, will be closed upon execution of the Timber Sale Contract and Timber Sale Bond. The sale will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. Support of Candidate

When I first heard that Ron Olfert was going to run as an Independent, my first comment to one of his supporters was that I would have advised him not to run as a “spoiler.” In other words, I was thinking that his political future could be put in jeopardy if his write-in votes as an independent were to cause the so-called “nominated” Republican to lose to the Democrat; that Republicans would remember that as a betrayal and never support him in any future races.
