HOT SPRINGS - Several hundred people flocked to the rodeo arena just outside of Hot Springs on Saturday and Sunday for the annual rodeo competition during the 64th annual Homesteader Days celebration. Competitors of all ages took to their horses and bulls to test their skills in multiple events.

Food for thought: what do do about the holiday blues
Not everyone shares in the celebration and joy associated with the holidays. Many people feel stressed and unhappy in response to the demands of shopping for gifts, spending large amounts of money, attending parties and family gatherings, and entertaining house guests. It is not uncommon to react to these stresses with excessive drinking and eating, difficulty sleeping, and physical complaints. The result is the holiday blues.

Kenny Lee Marjerrison
Kenny Lee Marjerrison, 34, passed away on Oct. 25th, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. during a fatal collision outside of Arlee. He was born in Plains, one of three children born to Jerry Marjerrison and Yvonne Roesler on May 9, 1983.
