Madison Hill of St. Regis earns top honors at State

Madison Hill, a junior at St. Regis, took top honors in the long jump at the Class C State Track and Field meet in Missoula on Friday with 16-8.25. She was trailed by Claire Fickler from Drummond with 16-06.75. Ember Schwindt from Cascade took third with 16.05.75, followed by Carly Hergett of Arlee in fourth with 16-05.25.

Panthers lose another meet to weather

The Alberton track team once again found themselves out of a meet on Tuesday. The Panthers were supposed to be back at the Dornblazer track in Missoula for the Loyola Relays, but weather complicated matters and the meet ended up being called off. This was the second meet to be cancelled that was on the Panther's schedule.

PLAINS - The Sanders County Community Market is proud to announce they have Partnered with Missoula’s Eagle Satellite in a bid to save this year Christmas lights at the Sanders County Fair Grounds. The “Drive Through Santa” Christmas display has brought families and friends together for years with a fantastic festival of light the whole community loves.  But the ever increasing expense to run the light display has led to the potential black out this year – unless action to save them is taken now.
