Delmer Lewis Garrison, 90, passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 5, 2018 at Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains. Del was born May 30, 1927, in Thompson Falls, (the last year of the Ford Model T).

Madison Hill of St. Regis earns top honors at State
Madison Hill, a junior at St. Regis, took top honors in the long jump at the Class C State Track and Field meet in Missoula on Friday with 16-8.25. She was trailed by Claire Fickler from Drummond with 16-06.75. Ember Schwindt from Cascade took third with 16.05.75, followed by Carly Hergett of Arlee in fourth with 16-05.25.
Road construction begins on I-90 near Alberton
ALBERTON – On Monday, March 31, commuters crossing from Missoula County into Mineral County on Interstate 90 had to slow down for a road construction project going from Alberton over the county line.

Panthers lose another meet to weather

The Panthers were supposed to be back at the Dornblazer track in Missoula for the Loyola Relays, but weather complicated matters and the meet ended up being called off. This was the second meet to be cancelled that was on the Panther's schedule.
