Plains Girl Scouts earn new badge with hands-on printing project
Nine junior Girl Scouts, members of Plains Troop 485, capped off requirements for their printing and graphics badge Friday afternoon with a hands-on lesson in silk screen printing at Ironhorse Screenworks in Plains.
Fair Board holds May meeting at fairgrounds
PLAINS – The Sanders County Fair Board met for their regular May meeting last week at the county’s fairgrounds pavilion.

Dec. 5, 1957: Santa to Make Deliveries—A horse-drawn sleigh will be used by Gambles Store in Superior to deliver purchases before Christmas, according to Ed Freer, store owner. Freer has the bright red conveyance on display in his store window. Check with him for more details.
