Keith Anton Ebelt (1935-2016)
Superior-Keith Ebelt passed away on Saturday January 9th in Superior, MT. He was born October 10th 1935 in Glendive MT. Keith is survived by Ann Marie Ebelt his loving wife of 62 years. His daughters Linda (Bob) Stibor of Taft CA, Valerie (Jeff) Baldwin of Las Vegas NV, and son Rod (Shawn) Ebelt of Spokane Valley WA. Six Grandkids, Nikki Ann, Cody, Jill, Kristen and Kyle. And a bunch of Great Grandchildren and Great Great grandchildren.

Lady Savage Heat fight through injuries
HOT SPRINGS – The Lady Savage Heat met the Lady Bobcats at Superior Friday night and then traveled to Seeley to play against the Lady Blackhawks on Saturday.

Tennis girls finish regular season strong
The Superior tennis girls finished out the play of their regular season this last week. They played Fort Benton at home on Friday and then traveled to the Best of the West Tournament on Saturday in Missoula.
Superior wrestlers lose edge
The Superior Bobcats headed into Missoula last week on Friday for the Rocky Mountain Classic. The tournament features large schools from throughout Montana and also brings in competitors from Washington and Idaho.

Tennis season begins in Superior
The Superior girls’ tennis team took to the courts last week. Coach Rick Barreth said that they braved the last couple of days.
Superior drops two
The Superior boys played against two tough teams before Christmas break. They went up against Arlee on December 21 and also battled Florence the following evening.

Forum held for hospital board candidates
Questions posed to Mineral County Hospital Board member candidates during a forum last Wednesday followed six topics they had previously received. Topics included their qualifications and reasons for running; challenges the board and the hospital are facing; and what is needed to assure success for the hospital.
