The Trotters racked up yet another impressive win at the Sanders County track meet on Thursday in Thompson Falls winning with a score of 123 points. Led by Hailey Phillips who won all five of her events, the Trotters easily outmatched the 35.5 points put up by Hot Springs.

Bombers blast past Tigers

They're called the Paradise Bombers boys junior high basketball team, but because of low numbers at the school, the team has athletes from fourth grade to seventh and both boys and girls play on the team this year, said coach Mark French. Yet, it was a St. Regis player who took a shot at the wrong basket, although it didn't go in. "We're definitely the underdogs this year," said French, who's in his third year with the Bombers.

Lady Hawks lose to Lady Devils

The Lady Devils and Lady Hawks were two teams heading in different directions last weekend as Noxon knocked off Thompson Falls 62-43 on Thursday. The Lady Devils have now won four straight while Thompson Falls is on a four-game losing streak.
