Play transports Superior
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks brought the Superior audience back to Venice and Belmont in the mid-1950s. The traveling actors performed Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice”.

Girl Scout troop hosts Halloween carnival
On Saturday, October 28, the Superior Girl Scouts troop 3802 hosted their Halloween carnival at the Superior Elementary School Gym from 2 until 3:30 p.m. Little goblins and princesses participated in fun games and activities including a mock jail. There was also a haunted hallway created and run by the high school Business Professionals of America club.

Ralph H. Parkin, 81
Ralph H. Parkin, 81, of Superior, passed away on March 1, 2024. He was born on Feb. 22, 1943, in Superior.
Superior volleyball looks to find footing
It was not a good week for the young Superior volleyball team as they dropped a pair of games to St. Ignatius, 3-0 Thursday at home, then were swept by Seeley 3-0 on the road.

Piano concert entertains audience in Superior
The Mineral County Performing Arts Council welcomed pianist and Montana native Amy Grinsteiner last Tuesday to perform at the LDS Church in Superior. She was joined by local pianist and composer, Scott Billadeau. The duo performed two piece by their former University of Montana teacher, Dennis Alexander.
