Hundreds of runners participate in Trail Rail Run

Over 300 hearty racers lined up at designated stations on the west-end of Mineral County to participate in the fifth annual Trail Rail Run. Event coordinator, Tyler Cheesman said the turnout was about 100 more runners than they had last year.

This is to follow up Judy Wooley and Pat Legard’s letter from last week regarding the Sanders County Republican Central committee. The SCRCC is as irrelevant as is our U. S. congress. Congress has passed its responsibility to Obama, just as the SCRCC has passed its responsibility on to Mike Hashasaki. We are just a microcosm of what is happening in Washington D. C. The ruling elite is trying to control the people and they just don’t get it. We the people are fed up with the business of politics as usual.

Frances Arlene (Osmond) Ewen died in Missoula, Montana on August 30, 2017 at the age of 91 years. She was born prematurely at home in Worden, Montana on October 26, 1925 to Wilma Elizabeth (Jones) Osmond and Washington Percy Osmond. She joined brother, Byron. She was a fighter right from the beginning. Since she was less than three pounds at birth, she was put inside the oven of her parent’s wood stove to keep warm. She was unable to suck, so was fed barley water from an eye dropper.
