The Feb. 10 Community Pot Luck will feature Josh Stroot of the Forest Service, who will speak about the local fires of last summer and precautions for the spring runoff. The Superior girls were seeing a lot of success as the track season was rolling to a close. They came in second at divisionals and had a group headed to state in numerous events. Yet only two girls took medals at the state track meet that was held this last weekend in Laurel. And it was in the long jump and the triple jump where the two girls shined.

St. Regis athletes Hill and Cantrell-Field win big in track

Two St. Regis athletes made it into the top six slot at the 19th Annual Russ Pilcher Western Montana Top 10 track and field meet in Missoula. Top athletes from all over Montana met at the Dornblaser track on April 25 to compete. Brock Cantrell-Field broke St. Regis School’s old discus record of 142 feet, 2 inches. Cantrell-Field threw 148 feet, 4 inches and took sixth place on Tuesday.
