Senior Night celebrated at high schools
Saturday was Senior Night for area high schools. Three seniors were honored in St. Regis, including Madison Hill, who plans on attending Montana State University after she graduates. Courtney Cheesman, who wants to go to North Idaho College, and Trevor Lowry, who has plans to attend the University of Montana.

Shooting results in fatality
A fatal shooting occurred over the weekend in Mineral County. Officers responded to a call during the early morning hours on Dec. 12 that came into 911 as a domestic dispute. Dispatch was told that shots were fired and officers were sent to the site in the DeBorgia area.

FFA takes away wings from local flyer
It’s a bright Friday afternoon, and Tom Seliga is putting together a six foot long model airplane that can soar over 400 feet in the air and fly as far as the eye can see. But unfortunately, Seliga and his plane have been grounded.
Community Notes
There will be a forum for candidates running for the Mineral Community Hospital Board. Four current board members are up for re-election and all positions are contested. It will be held on Wednesday, April 18 in the multipurpose room at the Superior High School. The time has not been announced yet.
