It's always nice to be the team victor overall at track meets, but for St. Regis that will be a hard feat to accomplish. With only four boys running and one girl, the team strives to focus on bettering themselves as individuals, striving to beat their old times and solidify quicker ones.

Performing arts concert series

The Mineral County Performing Arts Council is excited to start their 2010 – 2011 concert series with the Greater Missoula Area Single Reed on a Wooden Horn Society. (GMASRWHS) The concert will be held Oct. 1, at the Superior Baptist Church, 609 5th Avenue East, in Superior at 7  p.m.

Forest Service seeks comments on Tamarack project at Open House

Superior, MT.— The Forest Service is seeking comment on the 12 Tamarack project, which describes a proposal to improve forest health, watershed conditions, and big game winter range within the Twelvemile Creek, Tamarack Creek, Mullan Gulch, and Boyd Mountain area located north and west of St. Regis.  Proposed activities include prescribed burning, timber harvest, non-commercial vegetation treatments, watershed improvements, recreation enhancements, and road and trail management activities.
