Duo performs for county
With a dimming of the lights, Colin Ross and Mig O’Hara preceded to turn the Parkside Baptist Church in Superior Wednesday night into a speakeasy in the 1920s. That is, when the duo played their more blues and jazz influenced music. Throughout their concert, they also played a variety of county and folk as well.

4-H shooters prepare for national competitions
Mackenzie “Spud” Crabb, Aidan Patko and Luke Boyce stood together with their eyes quietly focused through the scopes on their air rifles. The three members of the Mineral County 4-H Shooting Sports team practiced together Saturday afternoon in the 4-H building in Superior. The boys stayed so silent they could hear a pin drop or more accurately a pellet hit a paper target.

The Plains Drama Club presented their spring play performance, “Adam’s Eve,” to the public last weekend on Friday and Saturday night at the Sanders County Fairgrounds’ Pavilion center.
MCPAC fundraiser a hit
The Mineral County Performing Arts Council (MCPAC) held their annual fundraiser at the end of last month on March 20 at the Superior Elementary School. The event featured the Ed Norton Big Band, an 18-piece ensemble, featuring trumpets, trombones, saxophones and rhythm section.
